Modern Jewish tradition focuses primarily on the lifecycle of its members, the associated rituals and customs, and caring intensely for every moment in the lifetime of a Jew. From birth ceremonies such as B'rit Milah and B'rit Bat, to coming of age events through the Bar and Bat Mitzvah, joyous celebrations in marriage, and comforting the loss of a loved one in death- the Daniel Centers is able to offer support and clergy services for every moment in your life.
We have been able to mark these occasions - both joyous and somber - with families from around the world. We have been honored to welcome families from America, Europe, and other countries as they celebrate their son and daughter’s B’nei Mitzvah, and couples who are looking for a Reform and egalitarian wedding ceremony in Israel. We take a Progressive Jewish approach to life cycle events, and bring to light the spirit of the city we serve: Tel Aviv-Jaffa.

Judaism, from the very beginning, has been concerned with inclusion. The repetition of the line “V’ahavta L’reacha Kamocha”, “you shall love the stranger as yourself”, is repeated numerous times in numerous occasions. “You shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.” As Jews, we have always valued welcoming all who wander into our tent- be it from Abraham’s encounter with three angels and the hospitality he showed them, to the modern practice of conversion. We are a nation of acceptance, embracing the differences amongst our tribe, and becoming lost in the revelation of God’s endless love.
What makes The Daniel Centers for Progressive Judaism especially unique, is that our mission is to provide an inclusive experience for all Jews, from all walks of life, and for all those seeking a welcoming home in our community. Whether you are Jewish by means of your mother or father, of LGBTQ identity, or looking to be welcomed to the covenant of our people, you will always be welcome and always have a home at Beit Daniel.
Furthermore, the Daniel Centers are the perfect place to come celebrate a special event. We always welcome those looking to have a wedding ceremony or Bar/Bat Mitzvah in Israel. We have had people from the United States, Russia, England, Australia, Brazil etc. come through our doors to celebrate with us.
